Very luxurious feeling cleansing oil.
I usually don’t put too much money into my facial cleansers, I feel like I don’t need to invest in quality there because they are in such limited contact with your skin.I am a BIG double cleanse person though, and prefer cleansing balms over liquid cleansing oils. But this one is definitely on par with a decent balm imho.Maybe because I’ve been cheaping out on these products i didn’t think that one with a higher price might come with advantages.I’ve used it for a little over a week, and have barely made a dent in the bottle. Probably would have used less too, if i hadn’t overestimated how much of it I would need multiple times.Unlike the other oil cleansers I’ve tried, this one took soo much less product per use, so I do feel like you’re definitely getting your money’s worth for the size.The formula isn’t runny, you don’t have to worry about it getting where it doesn’t belong or running out of your hands/down your face. its very smooth, has a decent consistency, and feels gentle and soft on the skin. It also has a gentle powdery-floral type scent.I don’t look too deeply into facial cleansers with the hottest new skin benefits (from a beauty standpoint) on my earlier grounds of it being in so little contact with your skin.So am I actually getting the ectoin benefits into my skin?….Well I’m not terribly sure honestly.But since I’ve recently been looking into skin barrier repair recently, I’m hoping there may be some skin health benefits.My face definitely feels baby soft, much more so than normal after my usual double cleanse.Would absolutely recommend, even if it doesn’t impart skin health benefits just for being such a nice cleanser.

Fixed a problem I was having
I’m currently using a retinol in my skincare routine and have been looking for an oil cleanser for daily sunscreen removal and gentle exfoliation for my flakiness.Using a retinol for the first time, even while starting slow, really irritated and damaged my skin barrier. So, I was looking for a cleanser that would help calm my skin, and also allow me to wash my face without making my face feel like it’s going to burn off. This oil cleanser checks off all these boxes.It remove stubborn waterproof sunscreen within 2 minutes of gently rubbing. No need to be harsh with your skin. When I work it in my skin a bit more, I notice that the layers of dead skin that come off don’t result in my face burning like some other cleansers do. Afterwards, emulsifying with some water for another minute, I rinse off the cleanser and do my routine as usual.I highly recommend as someone that’s dealing retinol irritation right now.

Great and easy to use
Great easy make up remover. I love that this was so easy to use to take off my make up. I’ve been testing different make up to help set my eye make up and my normal cleanser has not been able to take it all off. Using the OVERLAPS Ectoin cleansing oil has ensured all my make up and the ick from the day comes off so I can go relax. I like that my skin feels so soft after and you don’t need a lot for it to be effective. It’s great for sensitive skin or weather beaten skin. Overall, this was a win for me because it is easy to use, effective and my skin feels great. Price point is also good considering you don’t need a lot for it to be effective. And I love the cap it came with so it is good for travel and to ensure it doesn’t spill.

Lightweight and smoothing
This cleansing oil is really cute and has a good amount of product for the price. It has really good ingredients such as egg towing and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not dry. It leaves a smooth finish to my skin. The texture itself is very lightweight and doesn’t have a powerful smell and it’s really easy to use from the pump. I would say this is a really good value for your money and really good skin care in general.

A gentle, oil based cleanser for waterproof make-up
This is a gently oil based cleanser that removed my waterproof mascara and eye make-up. I swabbed it onto the cotton ball, and it feels oily. It gently removes the daily oil and waterproof make-up. Then, after splashing water in my face and eyes, the remaining make-up including the oil is washed way with the water. It is very gently, hydrating and left my skin soft.

Effective Cleansing Oil
OVERLAPS Pink Desert Ectoin Cleansing Oil is a good, inexpensive face cleanser for makeup removal. It has a perfume-like scent that is strong but pleasant. It is very thin and runny so it’s not very easy to apply. It starts as an oil and lightly lathers with water, removing makeup without being rough on skin. This cleansing oil is gentle and effective, but too strongly scented for my preference.

This one surprised me in a good way.I also use it around the eye area and haven’t faced any irritation. The formula feels gentle and works well even on sensitive skin.
