    The brighter label is the product on the left. That is the fake. The real one is lighter and on the right.

    The smell is different as is consistency. Package is different. And label is glued on which never happens with real product.

    I couldn’t believe how good the price was so I took a chance. The thing is I know La Mer. I have the end of some moisturizer that I got from the La Mer web site. The packaging on this Amazon La Mer was excellent. The shipping was excellent. However, when I opened the jar the cream was creamy and La Mer isn’t at all. Also, the scent though lovely was not the La Mer smell. I started looking more closely and in the jar it said Della Mer rather than De La Mer. What a disappointment! In any case, I’ve returned it and will only by this product from the manufacturer.
