effective ampoule with spicules!
This is an effective ampoule. I have somewhat sensitive mature skin. I’ve tried a lot of different skincare products to stave off the inevitable effects of aging, and, sadly, many don’t really do much except keep my skin from being dry. The common factor being they mostly just coat the surface of my skin and don’t really penetrate. Thus, I started looking at micro needling (way too painful for me). This ampoule has an abundance of spicules in it, which help to deliver the beneficial ingredients past the surface of the skin, without the pain (and redness plus bleeding) from microneedling. I feel the little stings, but they’re tolerable; my skin isn’t too irritated. I feel that the ampoule is effective for making my skin look smoother and more glowy. I have not noticed pore reduction. It is also very reasonably priced for something that can be used effectively at home regularly, without having to go to a clinic.

Pricey for a daily item.
This ampoule is for daily use, and not something to apply on special occassions or as a touch up. So consider whether you can buy a new bottle probably every 2-2.5 months. This has a gradual, over-time effect; I’m at the two week mark. At about the one week mark, I could definitely feel a difference, but nothing was visible. At the two week mark, I can’t point to anything specifically because redness varies day to day, moment to moment even, but I do think my color is more even. I haven’t seen any pore shrinkage but my skin does feel tangibly softer and cleaner even before doing any cleanser or treatment. My skin is also smoother to the touch, and was probably a little over halfway into week one even, so you will see results hopefully soon enough not to drop it before it gets a chance to work.There is no smell. I don’t have sensitive skin, so I can’t comment on everyone but I had no bad reactions, no peeling, no heaviness at all. It does take a minute or so to dry down, and it says to wait until it dries down to apply moisturizer, so I do so. Usually I can brush my hair or clean up the bathroom countertop or put on socks or something and by the time I think ‘is it dry yet?’ it is. I don’t know that layering immediately would do any harm either, but nothing I’ve put on after it has had any problems with pilling or flaking or anything.I do not feel dried out or more sun-sensitive though it does recommend SPF with use. SPF is generally recommended anyway.I used it directly under my eyes with no ill effects. While I do not have sensitive skin, some products I’ve used right under the eyes have caused headaches behind the eyes either the day of or after a few days of use, and I’ve been advised specifically NOT to use specific products directly under the eyes (retinols); I can affirm this does not cause any problems.The product does not make any outrageous claims, and has lived up to the claims it has made. I wish it was about $10.00 cheaper but I honestly may make room in my budget to make it a regular. I might also be using it too heavily and could probably make it last longer but I was given this free for review and I did not want to risk underselling the effectiveness because my use was too scant. So I may buy a bottle when this runs out and try using less and see if it keeps up satisfying results. As it is I use 4 pumps for the entire face. I strongly suspect I could get by with 2.

No directions on the bottle or website. Only on the box I don’t have any more.
My biggest problems is I through away the box a few weeks ago before using and there are no directions on the bottle. Am I supposed to leave it on, rub it on or wash it off. I did apply it and found it tacky for :20 before I washed it off.

If you deal with redness/rosacea you NEED this product
So, I believe you have to use skincare for at least several weeks, sometimes months, in order to notice any changes in your skin. Therefore I snapped a pic of myself when I started it, and figured I’d compare down the road at some point, and ONLY THEN write my review. At the 2 week mark, I took another one and was blown away by what a saw, so I’m now able to review.***PIC ON LEFT IS BEFORE, RIGHT IS AFTER***The reduction of redness between my 2 photos is HUGE. I can also see some fine lines and sun spots fading.I’m 55 and a skincare fanatic. I’ve used probably hundreds of products over the years, plus I own a NuFace that, admittedly, I don’t use as often as I should. I also struggle with mild rosacea and sun damage from stupidly baking myself in my younger years, plus I have very sensitive, reactive skin. Some products have caused instantaneous hives when I’ve applied them.This serum is lightweight, non greasy, and goes on smooth. Due to the spicules in it, I do feel a very slight tingling sensation that’s minimal at best and goes away within seconds. I haven’t experienced a single bit of irritation while using it. After reading up on spicule products, I knew that this serum was supposed to enhance the efficacy of other products you use it with, therefore it’s the first thing I apply. I then layer Olay’s Super Serum over it, followed by an SPF moisturizer and an eye cream.The fact that I’m seeing improvements that are noticeable to the eye at just 2 weeks out is HUGE, so I will absolutely continue to use and repurchase as I can’t remember the last time I used a new product that gave me results this quick. Highly recommend, 10/10 **photos taken exactly 2 weeks apart***

great ampoule
I’ve been working this Korean clarifying serum into my nightly routine for the last few weeks, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, it lives up to the promise of being gentle. Most exfoliating products tend to leave my face feeling tight or stripped, but this ampoule has a smooth, calming texture that doesn’t trigger any redness. It’s effective at clearing out minor congestion around my nose, and I noticed my skin texture looked more refined after about ten days of consistent use.However, I do wish the bottle is bigger. While a little goes a long way, the 30ml volume feels like it might run out faster than other serums in my cabinet. It’s a solid, reliable step for daily maintenance if you have sensitive skin, but don’t expect it to perform miracles on deep blemishes overnight. Its definitely a great pick for someone who needs a subtle reset without the harshness of traditional acids.
