The Jumiso Niacinamide 2% + PHA/BHA Pore Smoothing Toner is a lightweight, watery consistency (absorbs beautifully, no stickiness), gentle brightening, pore care + exfoliating toner featuring 2% niacinamide, 1% tranexamic acid, and a mild acid blend including gluconolactone (PHA) and salicylic acid (BHA). There are also includes some supportive hydrating/soothing ingredients such as glycerin, betaine, panthenol, and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid.While the ingredient list is relatively short for skincare and there is no added fragrance or essential oils (hooray!), there is an inclusion of spearmint extract. For some this might feel cooling but for others with sensitive skin, this might be a potential irritant. I wish it wasn’t included because otherwise, this seems like a very solid formulation!I have combo skin that leans dry, with some larger pores. This is a pretty good fit for me minus the spearmint. I like the gentle and lower % concentration of the actives in this. It’s great for subtle, long term mild pore care, oil control and brightening or for folks who want something less intense if they are new to exfoliants. So maybe best for oily or combo skin type folks!At $22 for 205ml, this is very reasonably priced. Your mileage may vary but it’s worth a try if you want to integrate gentle exfoliation into your routine!

Great toner for oily skin
My skin absolutely loves this toner! So far there’s nothing I don’t like about it. I’ve noticed that my skin is more balanced and less oily during the day, which I love. The texture is very liquidy and watery with no real thickness to it. It feels refreshing and absorbs quickly into my skin without feeling sticky at all. I pat it in with my hands, wait a few seconds for it to sink in and I will put another layer add more hydration. I haven’t noticed a huge difference lightening dark spots yet but so far it hydrates and plumps my skin well. Overall, I’m really enjoying this one and highly recommend if you’re oily to combination skin!

I use this toner after my oil cleanser to aid in some extra exfoliation and so far it works quite well. I won’t claim my skin looks a terrible lot younger, but it feels cleaner and fresher. I do use this as an inbetween, I apply moisturizer and other skincare products (based on my needs that day, my skin is especially iffy when humidity drops thanks to the dry air winter temps cause) and it’s been a nice part of my routine.Had no scent whatsoever from what I could detect, so this won’t interfere with any of your products. Does its job and works without pushing itself to the forefront. Quite like this!I do apply it just directly by putting it on my fingertips in steps and then applying it on my face. I’d hate to waste product on cotton pads like it suggests, but that’s just me.
